Vintage 1950-60’s Armbee Bear and Beehive Jar

This charming ceramic bear and beehive jar was made in Japan for Armbee, a San Francisco–based importer of decorative and novelty items during the mid-20th century. Standing approximately 4 1/4 inches tall and 4 3/4 inches wide, it features a sweet bear sitting alongside a honey beehive.

The jar shows its age with a few chips, but still makes a wonderful display piece for a vintage kitchen, a collector of honey or bear-themed items, or anyone who loves mid-century ceramics with character.
